One event on my schedule this week that didn’t lead to any stories by me: Wednesday’s screening of Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel” at the Newseum. 7/19/2017: My iPhone (Mac, iPad) won’t stop asking for my Apple ID, USA Today

To avoid ending this column about the clingy behavior of Apple’s service in a couple of hypotheticals, I warned that constant nags for a password that you can’t automate with a password manager will prod people to pick weaker passwords.

7/19/2017: World Bank president to teen robot-builders: Build technology that helps people, Yahoo Finance

7/23/2017: Slow downloads? Look to Wi-Fi first, then blame your ISP, USA Today

I hope that most readers won’t need this help but will appreciate the reminder that you have a choice of bandwidth-measurement sites and apps.
